  • No matter where you are in your wellness journey – no matter what your body image may reflect – in order to successfully move forward – you must first love yourself. You must believe you are worthy and deserving of good health and happiness.

    Self-love is the beginning of your Wellness Journey!

  • The act of being thankful. In being thankful for the little we have, we open ourselves to receive more that is available to us. Being thankful helps heal our souls and bring us into a space of wellness.

    There is no Wellness without gratitude.

  • The act of being purposeful and deliberate in one’s action. In order to achieve one’s wellness goals, there must be a set of deliberate actions that must be taken.

    Wellness requires conscious decisions done intentionally.

  • Consistency is all about doing it over and over until it becomes a habit. In wellness we are trying to create healthy habits that enable us to achieve and maintain our wellness goals.

    Repetition can birth good habits towards our Wellness.

  • The practice of eating primarily unprocessed and unrefined foods. It means embracing wholefoods such as fruits and vegetables, wholegrains, legumes, healthy proteins and fats. Huge emphasis on reducing or totally avoiding added salt, fats and sugars in foods.

    Food is our best ally in our Wellness Journey.

  • The practice of regularly moving the body to create flexibility and looseness of joints. Different from planned exercise activity. Movement says I don’t sit for hours at my desk every day without getting up and stretching. Movement says I don’t exercise for 30mins within a 24hr cycle then remain dormant for the next 16hours of my awake time.

    Movement is like the joyous praise in our Wellness.

  • We own our behavior and resist playing the blaming game. We understand that we are the driver on our wellness journey. Only I, can get me, to those milestones and beyond.

    Accountability keeps us honest on our Wellness Journey.

  • We view community in two ways in regard to wellness health. In the first instance, our immediate community is our inner circle of friends and family. That group/community who assist us and encourage us on our journey of wellness. Our second community is our world outside of our inner circle – the people we interact with on a daily basis on our jobs, at the coffee shop, the gym, etc. How we interact with these communities reflect our wellbeing. Are we kind? Are we patient? Are we respectful? Are we gracious?

    We draw strength from our community -We give love to our community! We are living in Wellness!
